According to MacRumors, the Apple Vision Pro augmented reality glasses will officially be available for purchase starting on January 27 in the U.S.
The information from MacRumors aligns with previous rumors indicating that Apple’s AR glasses would be released at the end of January 2024.
Earlier, Apple Vision Pro was unveiled at the WWDC 2023 event in June 2023. The product features a transparent front lens, allowing users to observe the external world while still accessing displayed content on the glasses.

In addition, the Apple Vision Pro is equipped with a camera and sensors to track eye movements. This enables users to control the device through eye gestures, hand gestures, and the virtual assistant Siri.
The user interface on Apple Vision Pro bears many similarities to the macOS operating system. All applications will be displayed in the user’s field of vision for easy access. The device integrates the M2 processor and a specially designed R1 chip. Apple Vision Pro is priced at $3,499.
According to CNBC, a crucial task for Apple at this time is to convince developers to create additional applications for this new device. This is essential as the app ecosystem could play a decisive role in the success or failure of Vision Pro.
